REX EOD BREACHER BAR
REX stands for Rescue. Escape. Xtract. The EOD is a Military Grade model and is used by Law Enforcment, First Responders and Military Forces world wide. The design of this model is the result of working with both Canadian Combat Engineers as well as US Marine EOD specialists. The REX EOD has a longer bevel, longer handle and a welded on handguard when compared to the standard REX.
The REX EOD was made for the unexpected. Whether its a First Responder breaking glass to rescue someone in a car accident, escaping a building that was hit by a natural disaster, opening containers, Military Operations opening a window to get a sniping position, an EOD Specialist extracting ordnance or an outdoorsman splitting wood and digging holes, the EOD is a personal and compact tool thats easily carried in molle webbing or in a backpack so operators can keep it close by. The EOD is an essential tool for SWAT, First Responders, Fire Fighters, Patrol Officers, Search and Rescue, outdoorsmen, EOD and Military Field Ops.
The simple design of the EOD allows all sides of the tool to be used. The operator can strike the back of the tool to drive the chisel tip into door jams, the 1/4in thick spine has plenty of heft to make a great hammer for spikes and the Paracord handle provides plenty of grip and can easily be replaced. Simply rewrap the handle if it were to ever wear out.
