The Rothenbuhler 1685 system is a rugged, reliable remote firing platform designed for professional
blasting and field operations. It provides long-range communications, high-energy output, and true
two-way status so operators can remain organized and in control from a safe standoff distance.
Key Features (1685 Platform)
- Mesh network communications with typical line-of-sight range of 1.9–4.3 miles (3–7 km)
- Programmable sequential firing from 0.5 to 3 seconds
- Submersible construction rated to 100 ft (30 m)
- 902–928 MHz FHSS communications with 256-bit AES encryption (no license required)
- High-energy output with support for shock tube and electric initiation
- Full two-way communication with remote firing confirmation and battery status
- Supports up to six paired remotes per controller
