BTS-50 Blasting Machine
The BTS-50 is a compact and rugged light-weight Solid-State Electronic Capacitor Discharge Blasting Machine. The unit is completely sealed making it waterproof and impervious to dust, dirt, sand, and debris.
It features specially developed Heavy-Duty Push Down Binding Posts for quick and secure lead line attachment, even if the user is wearing gloves.
The BTS-50 incorporates 2 guarded pushbutton switches for Charge and Fire operations. For added safety, the operator must depress and maintain the “Charge” switch while the unit is indicating “Ready” to proceed to “Fire”, and in that order. This two-switch procedure ensures the operators intent to initiate.
The BTS-50 offers rapid-charging and is engineered so that it may only fire when fully charged and maintaining verified armed specifications.
A 9V battery provides hundreds of Charge/Fire cycles, and loads smoothly through the side of the unit into a waterproof compartment secured in place by an easy-on/easy-off Battery Cap.
The BTS-50 incorporates 2 attachment points for a factory supplied detachable Belt Loop offering easy carrying and accessory options.
