The Robot RATS Window Breaker is a robot-deployable glass breaking tool designed for EOD robots, bomb disposal robots, tactical robots, SWAT robots, and remote ordnance disposal platforms. Built as part of the Rotation Activated Tool System (RATS), this window breaker gives operators of both large and small robotic platforms the ability to shatter glass with minimal applied force.

How It Works

Traditional window breaking tools often require larger robots equipped with spring-loaded center punches. These tools demand significant force, which smaller robots may not be able to apply effectively.

The Robot RATS Window Breaker uses a modified auto hammer design. The robot simply pushes the tool against the glass, and the device automatically activates to shatter the window.

Requiring only approximately 2 lbs. of force to activate, this tool is ideal for smaller robotic platforms that need reliable window-breaking capability during tactical, EOD, and hazardous-duty operations.
