The patent-pending CopperHead™ projectile system fires a low-velocity copper slug designed to rupture internally plugged and end-capped pipe bombs while reducing the risks commonly associated with traditional projectile disruption methods.
Characterization testing with black powder and smokeless powder-filled pipe bombs demonstrated zero fragmentation in 100% of tested targets. The CopperHead™ is currently the only dynamic disruption projectile capable of accessing steel end-capped pipe bombs with a reduced risk of flash powder ignition, achieving a 75% success rate during testing (n=8).
Platform Compatibility
CopperHead™ penetrators are available in both PAN and Gemini configurations.
