Product Overview
The XP-357 Functional IED Trainer Kit is specifically designed to support Platoon-level IED training when dedicated training lanes or ranges are occupied or unavailable. The system provides everything needed to conduct realistic training scenarios in virtually any environment while remaining easy to understand, quick to deploy, and simple to operate.
At the center of the kit is the XP-357 Pneumatic IED Blast Simulator, a non-pyrotechnic training device that produces a tuned shockwave and loud blast effect using compressed air or CO2 at 100-150 PSI. Unlike traditional pneumatic trainers that rely on bursting discs or containers, the XP-357 creates a repeatable shockwave effect without fragmentation hazards.
The compact size of the XP-357 allows it to be concealed almost anywhere during scenarios, including inside simulated IEDs, beneath vehicle seats, under workbenches, or within cluttered training environments.
